After stepping out in looks from Halston on the Sex and the City 2 set, rumors sparked that Sarah Jessica Parker was about to ink a deal with the company. And now, it looks like the brand has finally gotten "Carrie-d" away.
Sarah Jessica will be taking on an active design role, possibly even that of creative director, for Halston Heritage, the company's just-launched secondary collection that features updated archival Halston pieces at contemporary price points, reports WWD.
The company has yet to release details on their decision to add the actress to their team, but one thing is for sure, Sarah Jessica is no stranger to the fashion game. Having reached fashion icon status playing Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, the actress went on to create the affordable apparel line Bitten for Steve & Barry in 2007. (The line was discontinued a year later.)
We can't wait to see how Sarah Jessica will put her fashion-forward imprint on the label once favored by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to jet-setters Bianca Jagger and Elizabeth Taylor.
